What are you passionate about, and how do you use your voice/talent to make a difference?

I am passionate about strengthening both people and the communities they serve. I believe one of the most rewarding aspects of leadership is recognizing the unique talents in others and helping them reach their full potential. By building genuine relationships, encouraging growth, and creating opportunities for success, I strive to help individuals become the best versions of themselves. I also believe that strong communities are built through collaboration and support. As an advocate for local businesses, I enjoy fostering connections that drive economic growth, strengthen partnerships, and create lasting positive impacts. My goal is to inspire others, champion the success of those around me, and contribute to a thriving community where both people and businesses can succeed together.

Shorter version if need be – I am passionate about helping people and communities grow. I believe great leadership is about recognizing the strengths of others, building meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities for success. By supporting local businesses, fostering partnerships, and encouraging collaboration, I strive to make a positive impact and help build a stronger, more vibrant community where people and businesses can thrive together.

What is your vision for the future of Siouxland?

My vision for Siouxland is a community that embraces innovation, growth, and opportunity. I hope to see it continue attracting new businesses, unique events, and engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. Equally important is supporting a culture of genuine hospitality, where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected to the community. By continuing to evolve while building on our strong community values, Siouxland can become a place where future generations choose to live, work, and raise their families. My goal is to help foster a vibrant, thriving community that my children will be proud to call home for years to come.

What are you doing to make that happen?

I believe in being actively involved and showing up for the businesses and organizations that make Siouxland a great place to live and work. Serving on the Explore Siouxland Board and as a Chamber Ambassador has allowed me to advocate for our community, build meaningful connections, and support initiatives that drive growth. There is no shortage of ways to get involved, and I enjoy contributing my time and energy to organizations that make a positive impact on Siouxland.

How can people help you make that happen?

Get involved by sharing ideas, attending local events, and participating in the many activities happening throughout Siouxland. Supporting local businesses is one of the best ways to strengthen our community and help it continue to grow. And if you’re looking for a local favorite, I highly recommend stopping by Crumb for one of their delicious cookies!
