Every year, our 10 Under 40 issue reminds me just how much possibility exists within our community. These ten individuals are building businesses, strengthening organizations, solving problems, creating connections, and finding their own unique ways to make Siouxland better. They may come from different industries and backgrounds, but they share something important: a willingness to step forward, use their strengths, and make an impact.

Leadership doesn’t begin with a title or a certain number of years of experience. It begins with influence. It’s the decision to take responsibility for what we can contribute and to recognize that the way we show up matters. This year’s 10 Under 40 honorees are wonderful examples of that, and I hope their stories inspire you to consider your own influence. Where could you grow? Who could you encourage? What strength within you is ready to be developed and shared?

That question is also leading Expand into its own next chapter.

Beginning in 2027, Expand will become a quarterly publication with an even stronger focus on leadership and personal and professional development. But the magazine will only be one part of what we are building. I’ll be joined by several talented leadership trainers as we create opportunities to learn together through meaningful articles, in-person training, and more individualized support.

Because when people grow, businesses grow. Organizations grow. Communities grow.

There is much more to share in the months ahead, but for now, consider this your first glimpse of what’s coming. Expand has always been about possibilities. In 2027, we’re going to help you do even more with yours.
