It’s a time for new beginnings in Downtown Sioux City!

The last year was full of exciting new projects, including the addition of new lighting all along 4th Street and in the Alley Art alleyways; fun events like Downtown LIVE, July Jam, Art Affair, Downtown Tailgate Party, and the return of Ragbrai; and in the midst of it all – Downtown Partners added two new faces to the office!

Please let me introduce myself; I’m Tracie Tuttle, Downtown Partner’s proud new Business Development Coordinator! I was initially introduced to the organization during an internship at Vangarde Arts, where I worked with Downtown Partners and the Alley Art committee to help organize the very first Alley Art Festival in 2019. Since that time, I’ve worked and volunteered as a graphic designer, artist, and gallery coordinator downtown. As the Business Development Coordinator, I am responsible for attracting and retaining business, acting as a front-line contact for downtown, and social media promotion. I’m thrilled to be part of the team behind growing and beautifying Downtown Sioux City. I’ve loved meeting the leaders, business owners, and community members that make this such a remarkable place to be. I’m looking forward to meeting you; please reach out so I can learn more about your business and passion downtown.

Shortly after arriving, it was time to start planning for the holidays! I had the pleasure of planning and promoting some of your favorite holiday events – like the largest IBEW Downtown Holiday Lighted Parade ever, the Holiday Storefront Decorating Competition, Small Business Bingo, and our 12 Days of Giveaways. We also worked very closely with Iowa’s West Coast Initiative on their Small Business Marketplace for our local entrepreneurs and small businesses.

It’s indeed a time for new beginnings in Downtown Sioux City with our dedicated team and your support going into 2024.
