Do you have a fun idea for a cool new event to bring to life in Downtown Sioux City? Let’s collaborate! Downtown Partners is looking to team up with Siouxland organizations to launch various brand-new outdoor events for Downtown Sioux City!
Through this partnership, our goal is to activate downtown spaces every day of the week and to foster a collaborative environment between the community and local businesses, raising awareness for the services they offer while creating a lasting impact downtown.
Downtown Partners offers comprehensive support, including financial assistance, marketing and promotional guidance, logistical support, training programs, networking opportunities, and assistance in determining key performance indicators for the first three years of the new downtown event. By the event’s third year, the lead organization will receive a transition plan as Downtown Partners’ assistance will gradually decrease as the event becomes successful and financially self-sustainable.
All new event proposals will work closely with our Downtown Event Coordinator to review all the details and a committee review process to determine its sustainability and financial need. A budget is set aside each year for downtown events, so don’t wait too long to let us know your idea. We will all want plenty of time to plan and promote a new event.
