“It starts with a graphic designer, then we survey the building location and the site where you want the sign to go. Then we build a virtual site there to make sure the design you want works with the location,” stated Janae, explaining the process. When a business wants to have signage placed on their business, there are specific guidelines required by various government agencies that also come into play. “I check the regulations with city guidelines, be it in Sioux City or any city in the Siouxland area, to ensure we’re following the sign regulations and city codes. Then we also take care of the sign permitting process,” stated Janae. And this is all done when Janae is working with her clients in the planning stages. Nothing is done that might need to be undone until they are certain that everything their client wants meets all the necessary guidelines and codes.
“The majority of the products we make are done in-house. Being able to do that, we help ensure quality products for our customers. We’re handling the materials as they are being made, and by doing that, we can ensure that they are durable and will last. We stand by our products. If there is ever anything that goes wrong or a product isn’t met with the customer’s satisfaction, we will make it right. We can put up a lot of exterior signage. Our number one seller right now is aluminum composite. It’s a durable outdoor sign covered with vinyl and laminate, non-illuminated, and a more reasonably priced option for businesses. We can go 45 feet up in the air with the Van Ladder. It allows us to put up channel letters and cabinet signs, and we even changed out some parking lot lights for customers. We can do LED Retro Fits, too!” stated Janae.
