What challenges have you experienced in Siouxland? In Sioux City, starting as a college freshman and living far from home wasn’t the easiest. I knew what to expect, but I was still worried. However, I felt at ease getting to know and seeing people in the same boat as me. How has Siouxland been welcoming? 

It was always the most straightforward question to answer. What do you do for a living? My response —I’m a radio guy. That description was first earned in the 1990’s while sipping ultra-strong coffee from the overnight coffee pot at Lincoln’s Classic Rock 92.9 The Eagle after working shifts at the college campus radio station.
